Before going to graduate school, I was a back-to-the-lander. In the 1970s I purchased a piece of raw land in the desert with the idea of living "off the grid". I lived there until the late 1990s. While I never completely reached my goal of self sufficiency, I learned plenty about raising food and cooking basic and delicious meals from scratch. My love for cooking has never waned. My goal for Fairly Grounded is to offer the same kinds of delicious, organic foods made with ingredients that are seasonal and local. We are not 100% there yet, but I hope you will try our new menu items as they develop. By next year I hope to be providing some of the food we serve from our own Fairly Grounded Gardens.
